Hello everyone,
This morning I went to the Mount Vernon Statement website, which is at http://themountvernonstatement.com and added my signature. I added a note to the site in their comments. I noted with certain gladness that blogging platform wordpess.com is the proud host site of the historic online document. I went back to my blogs on wordpress.com and posted an essay about the document. Within about an hour after I published those posts, wordpress.com went down. I do not think it had anything to do with what I was posting, that would be a ridiculous assumption, but I am wondering what has happened. it's 2 hours later and I still cannot read anything on wordpress.com or access my account. Is this happening to anyone else who is on wordpress?
This means the Mount Vernon Statement is now offline and unavailable for people to read, sign and link to. What a spooky, eerie, and not real comfortable coincidence.
Wordpress.com is a highly sophisticated blogging platform, has over 9.2 million blogs on it, and hosts tens of thousands of conservative citizen journalism, independent, and tea party patriot blogs like mine. It is arguably one of the most significant and vital portals of free speech and networking for political and idealogical conservatives on the internet, followed closely by Google's blogger.com.
Does anyone have any thoughts about why wordpress.com is down? It's 3:30 p.m. pacific time and the site has been down off and on for over 2 hours. This has never happened since I have been using wordpress, which is for at least 2 years. Sound off and shoot me an email at evermore888@gmail.com. I will keep writing about this "worpdress web outage" as it is a very significant networking tool for American Tea Party folks and independent citizen journalists like me, far and wide.
